c’ e’ a’ e” ; bb d’ g’ d”

c’ e’ a’ e”   ;   bb d’ g’ d”

Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber‘s Rosary Sonata no. 9 “Carrying the Cross” (1674 – 1676) is written in the tuning c’ e’ a’ e”, as well as an anonymous suite from the Kromeriz Music Archive.

The Norwegian hardanger fiddle players Torkjell Haugerud and Truls Ørpen both composed tunes in the tuning bb d’ g’ d”. Haugerud’s Tårån i Troppin is probably the most known.
